Brown patch

Brown patch and large patch (caused by the fungus Rhizoctonia) can cause some serious damage during the winter rainy season in warm climates, and during the late spring and summer elsewhere. As long as average air temperatures remain above 60F (15.5C), this disease can strike. Large patch is particularly severe in the fall when temperatures drop below 70 F (21 C) and when relative humidity is high.
