Photo of the week: bentgrass plugs for ballmark repair

This has probably been done before, but I don't think it is common. That's the use of small plugs to repair ballmarks (pitch marks) on golf course putting greens.

At the Taiheiyo Gotemba Club in Japan, near Mt. Fuji, three part time employees use a custom-made tool to cut plugs from the creeping bentgrass nursery green.
