A recent trend toward non-overseeded bermudagrass in southern regions has resulted in painful and difficult transitions. In this short, 2 minute video, we illustrate the difficulty that is frequently encountered when the decision to remove cool season poa and ryegrass has been made. With current and future water restrictions, the adoption of non-overseeded bermudagrass for winter golf is rapidly becoming beneficial financial and environmental decision. Golfers, however, must understand that the process is slow and sometime painful.
