Bacterial wilt

Bacterial wilt is caused by the bacterium Xanthomonas and occurs on Poa annua greens. In 2015, bacterial wilt caused by Xanthomonas was reported for the first time on perennial ryegrass. A related disease, bacterial decline, is caused by the bacterium Acidovorax (and possibly several other bacterial species) and occurs on bentgrass greens.
