Terms of Service

Last updated: May 27, 2026

These terms cover your use of the PACE Turf website and membership. By creating an account or using the Site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Our purpose

PACE Turf exists to promote education, communication, and improved agronomic practices for the turfgrass community. The public website is offered free as a service toward that mission, and you are encouraged to share its educational content for non-profit purposes (see Section 7). Membership funds this work and unlocks our full agronomic resources, tools, and weather information.

2. Definitions

3. Membership and accounts

A PACE Turf account is for your individual use. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Billing and renewal

PACE Turf membership is a single annual plan of $600 per year that gives you full access to everything we offer. Membership renews automatically once a year unless you turn off auto-renewal. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time. Your membership stays active through the end of the year you have already paid for and does not renew after that. If you cancel partway through the year and would prefer a refund for the unused portion instead of keeping access until the term ends, a prorated refund is available on request.

6. Acceptable use

Use the Site for your own turf management purposes. Do not use the Site to send spam, harass others, solicit or advertise, interfere with the Site’s operation, attempt to access another person’s account, share your sign-in credentials, scrape or bulk-download Content, reverse engineer the Site or its tools, bypass access controls, or use the Site or Content to build a competing product, database, or service. We may suspend access that does not follow these expectations.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Content and the Site, including text, research, articles, data, weather information, presentations, reports, photos, tools, software, design, and other materials, are owned by PACE Turf or by the credited provider of that material and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You must keep all author, photographer, copyright, attribution, and other proprietary notices intact, and you must follow any additional restrictions displayed with particular Content.

Public Content. You are encouraged to share, copy, and distribute Public Content for non-profit educational purposes without asking us first, as long as all author, photographer, copyright, and attribution notices remain intact, the Content is not modified in a misleading way, and your use does not imply endorsement by PACE Turf. For permission to use Public Content for commercial or for-profit purposes, contact us.

Member Content. Member Content is provided for your own internal, noncommercial turf management work. You may download, print, or copy reasonable portions of Member Content for that purpose, but you may not redistribute, publish, post, sell, license, transfer, share account-based access to, or otherwise make Member Content available to others without prior written permission from PACE Turf.

Except as expressly allowed in these terms or with our prior written permission, you may not modify, publish, transmit, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display, scrape, archive, mirror, sell, or otherwise exploit the Site or Content in whole or in part.

8. Service and disclaimers

PACE Turf provides agronomic guidance, weather information, and related tools to support your decisions, not to replace your professional judgment. The Site and its Content are provided on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, PACE Turf is not liable for losses arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its Content. You remain responsible for the management decisions you make for your operation.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Site and cancel your membership at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are not followed. Sections 7 and 8 continue to apply after access ends.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update this page. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

12. Questions
