A new fungicide (and a new poa control tool?)

Torque Fungicide, marketed by Cleary Chemical and Mirage by Bayer Crop Science, recently won EPA approval for use in the turf market. The active ingredient, tebuconazole, is in the DMI (demethylation inhibitor) group of fungicides, and as such, is closely related to products such as propiconazole (Banner), triadimefon (Bayleton), myclobutanil (Eagle) and fenariomol (Rubigan).

Torque has shown good activity in university trials on diseases such as:
