An easy method to compare seasons and locations

A technique we return to again and again is the summing of daily growth potential. Last week we were asked about the relative growing season length in western Oregon's Willamette Valley, compared with the growing season in Minnesota. This is an easy comparison to make, not only between these two locations, but between any possible locations, by using the turfgrass growth potential.
