Another look at molasses vs. thatch

Claims that application of molasses can reduce thatch have been difficult to prove (see this November, 2007 PACE Turf Update). However, a glimmer of hope has been offered in studies conducted by Dr. Bert McCarty and his research team at Clemson University in South Carolina.
