Avoiding fuel spill damage

Hydraulic oil spills are an all too common source of turf injury. But new information from two different research groups may help you to at least lessen the impact of these spills. The answer appears to lie in the use of biodiesel (a renewable replacement for petroleum diesel fuel that is based on recycled cooking oil, soybean oil and animal fats), which is slowly being adopted in golf courses and other turf facilities, with good results.
