Bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, and water use

Research by LaBarge et al. looked at water use differences of bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, and creeping bentgrass at fairway mowing height in New Jersey.

The grasses were grown under a rain out shelter so that the only water they received would come from calibrated irrigation squares with measured irrigation amounts for plots of each grass type. These are the main results:
