Biocontrol for zebra and quagga mussels

Irrigation system problems that are due to two invasive species of small freshwater mussels continue to pop up around the country. Both zebra and quagga mussels attach onto hard surfaces within irrigation pipes, and can reach such high numbers that they clog pipes, filters and screens.
