Biocontrol of snow mold?

Microdochium patch (pink snow mold) can be relatively well controlled with conventional pesticides, as described here. But Clint Mattox and collaborators at Oregon State University wanted to see if they could generate similar levels of control using non conventional, lower toxicity fungicides as well.

The results of this one year study are encouraging, from the standpoint of disease control, but somewhat discouraging from the standpoint of economics. We also would like to see at least one more year of data…
