Biological Control of Turfgrass Diseases

Biological control is gaining popularity throughout the turfgrass industry. However, there have been very few if any successful biological control products introduced into the marketplace. This year, Wilbur-Ellis introduced BioTrek 22G, a trichoderma based biological control product. We are encouraging evaluation of this product by treating half greens with the biological control and comparing the treatments to normal management practices or comparison to the non-teated half green.
