Chart of the week: OM246 burn temperature

We often receive questions about the difference in organic matter test results between a burn at 360 °C and the organic matter result for a burn at 440 °C. This chart shows that for samples collected from four greens and then divided in two, with one half of the sample burned at 360 °C and the other half of the sample burned at 440 °C, the organic matter was the same for both burn temperatures.
