Check your irrigation meter: size DOES matter

We talked last week about the high frequency of problems caused by irrigation system related drought stress. Problems such as poor irrigation distribution, programming discrepancies, and over-reliance on ETs were described. An additional problem we occasionally see is the use of meters that are too small to deliver the desired volumes.
