Coniosporium

That's right, Coniosporium. Most of you have never heard of this fungus and we seldom see it in the lab. However, we recently encountered it attacking GN1 hybrid bermudagrass. Coniosporium is not a primary plant pathogen. This means that it requires some environmental or other biological factor to severely damage the plant before the Coniosporium can finish the job.
