Crazy patterns in bermuda, kikuyugrass, and zoysia

This interesting photo illustrates the deposition of frost on the foilage of zoysiagrass. The photo was submitted by Dr. Fred Yelverton from NC State University. Note the pattern of the frost matches the pattern of the dormant zoysia in the previous zoysia photo.
