Cream leaf blight: a new disease?

North Carolina State University researchers Dr. Jim Kerns and Dr. Lee Butler have recently reported on the growing incidence of cream leaf blight on ultradwarf bermuda putting greens. Although this is not a new disease (it has been reported on bentgrass and tall fescue, and is caused by the same pathogen that causes pink patch), the frequency of seeing it on ultradwarf bermuda greens is notable.
