Cream leaf blight

Cream leaf blight is caused by fungi in the genus Limnomyces, appeared on dormant ultradwarf bermuda this February, and is related to pink patch. The attached photos were provided by Alan Windham, University of Tennessee. The damage is superficial and the crowns of the plants are healthy. This disease is also similar to red thread and the turf will typically out-grow the fungus. Slightly increase nitrogen fertilization once the turf begins to grow, to speed recovery.…
