Video: Diagnosing bacterial wilt

Bacterial wilt caused by Xanthomonas and bacterial decline caused by Acidovorax are challenging to diagnose using standard microscopy, due to the very small size of the pathogens involved. This video contrasts the identification of larger organisms (such as fungi and net slime molds) with identification of the smaller bacteria involved in bacterial wilts. In addition, key management practices that can assist in recovery from bacterial wilt and bacterial decline are summarized.
