Dollar spot hits research plots

The first dollar spot symptoms of 2019 were observed on A4 bentgrass by Dr. Lee Miller, Missouri University (@MUturfpath on Twitter) on April 29 at the Missouri University research farm.
We looked at how well various predictive models worked to identify the April 29 observation. Dr. Miller reported that the Smith-Kerns dollar spot model hit 15% at the time of his observation, indicating a relatively low risk of disease.
