Since the last time we updated you on the El Niño forecast, in October 2014, changing ocean temperatures in the eastern Pacific have caused most climatologists to revise their original predictions. Most models are now callling for a weaker El Niño than originally predicted, and one that will have only a 50 to 60 percent chance of occurring this winter and spring.
