El Niño Update

The El Niño conditions continue to strengthen according to the Climate Prediction Center of the National Weather Service. El Niño conditions have been confirmed in the equatorial Pacific Ocean, and the forecast is for a moderate to strong El Niño. The ocean surface anomalies are expected to peak between November and January. The El Niño will last thorough March or May, 2010.
