Energy conservation practices

The recently published GCSAA report, "Energy Use and Environmental Practices on U.S. Golf Courses", documents significant decreases in energy use (and particularly electrical use) from 2008 to 2015. Some of the methods superintendents used to make these reductions include behavioral actions (such as changing the heating and cooling systems, the golf course irrigation systems, and lighting systems), as well as design, physical or mechanical changes.
