PACE member Bill Gallegos CGCS of Aliso Viejo Golf Course in California has been investigating the soil factors that are involved in fairy ring development on his bermudagrass fairways. Bill deals primarily with what is usually called "Type 2" fairy ring , where the turf growth is stimulated, but turf doesn't actually die.
