Gray leaf spot research proposal approved

Congratulations to Dr. Frank Wong, primary investigator on a gray leaf spot research project that was recently approved for funding by the GCSAA. The project, titled “Biology, diversity and epidemiology of gray leaf spot affecting perennial ryegrass and kikuyugrass in California” was one of the eight new projects that GCSAA selected for approval out of 39 submissions. The amount of funding approved for the eight new projects totals over $132,000 over the next three years.
