Growing degree days and poa seedhead management

Sean O'Connor, CGCS who manages the Forest Akers Golf Courses at Michigan State recently asked us whether PACE is going to provide of growing degree day (GDD) models for poa seedhead production. This is a good question, since many superintendents use this model to time poa seedhead management programs.
