Dr. Kent Worthington Kurtz: 1940 - 2006

The world of turfgrass agronomy lost a key contributor, a committed educator and a unique personality on February 18, 2006, when Dr. Kent W. Kurtz, aged 65, died of complications from several heart attacks and from cancer.
