Medallion mode of action

In our last PACE Update, we incorrectly noted that Medallion (Syngenta) was in the sterol synthesis inhibitor (SSI or DMI) class of fungicides. In fact, Medallion’s active ingredient is a phenylpyrrole commonly named fludioxonil is the only fungicide in this class that is currently on the market for turfgrass disease control.
