More frosted fairy ring

After Andrew McDaniel (golf course superintendent at Keya Golf Club in Fukuoka, Japan) sent me the photo of frost that had formed on the fairy ring on a korai (Zoysia matrella) fairway, I asked him to watch out for this phenomenon and to please let me know if he saw it again. Sure enough, it did, and he sent this photo.
He also noticed that frost formed selectively over an irrigation line that had been disturbed a few years ago…
