More on bentgrass with summer patch

We wrote a few weeks ago about the relatively unrecognized problem of summer patch on bentgrass. Dr. Jim Kerns of North Carolina State University sees a lot of this disease on bentgrass as well, as described here. He also provides a good summary of summer patch control, indicating that the most effective products are those that contain fluoxastrobin (Disarm), azoxystrobin (Heritage) or pyraclostrobin (Insignia). This is pretty much in agreement with our assessment of the data as well.
