Nine steps to take following a hurricane

The University of Florida provide a document with nine steps, or nine items to check, under the title "Promoting Turf Recovery Following a Hurricane."

It starts with removing uprooted trees and debris removal. The final item is aerifying and topdressing areas of compacted soil. In-between you'll find advice about salinity, sodicity, gypsum, and some tests to run to make sure the soil and water are in a condition to support turf performance.
