Nozzle selection and microdochium patch

Nozzle selection can have a signficant impact on performance of pesticides applied to turf. As reported by McDonald et. al. , microdochium patch (aka pink snow mold caused by Microdochium nivale) was most effectively controlled using nozzles that delivered smaller droplets, regardless of the spray volume used. However, for the best possible results, a combination of small droplets and high volume was most effective.
