Overseed disaster in the works

One of the most critical components of a successful overseeding program is adequate irrigation during establishment of the ryegrass and Poa trivialis plants. When weather conditions rapidly change, there can be a threat to the successful establishment of an overseed. This weekend, Southern California experienced what is called a Santa Ana condition where warm and dry desert air flows westward toward the coast.
