Two unsettling trends in turf pest management are currently converging, and it's making turf managers nervous. First, we have seen the number of effective nematode control products dwindle down to almost zero. Always a challenge to to control because of their secretive life style, nematodes have in the past been managed with products such as Nemacur (fenamiphos). However, health and environmental issues with this product and others like it have led EPA to cancel their registrations.
