Photo of the week: bentgrass in zoysiagrass

Some golf courses in Japan have two greens per hole, in what is called the "2 green system." I visited a course with two greens per hole, one creeping bentgrass and one korai (Zoysia matrella). I took the photo on November 3, not far from Tokyo. The course uses the bentgrass greens at this time of year, the korai grows slowly but hasn't lost color yet, and the korai greens had not been mown for about a month.
