Photo of the week: brown ring patch (again)

We're still seeing several cases of brown ring patch (caused by Waitea circinata var. circinata) on poa greens in recent weeks. As shown in the photo, the disease produces heavy mycelial growth on the turf surface when a cup cutter sample is incubated overnight in a partially closed ziplok plastic bag.
