Photo of the week: grass response to P fertilizer

I've been conducting a series of simple experiments at home since 2019. This photo was taken exactly six months after these grasses were planted. I used a variegated tropical carpetgrass, Axonopus compressus, because previous experience has shown this species to show a response to P. And I planted in a coconut coir rootzone that, again, previous experience has shown to be relatively low in P-supplying power without P fertilizer addition.
