Keeping dormant bermudagrass green during the winter is a challenge at many golf courses. Superintendent Troy Mullane at The Farms Golf Club (Rancho Santa Fe, CA) has had success with applications of iron and manganese and turf colorant to the fairways. The magic formula consists of fertilizer product GetGreen (HydroGro) at 5 lbs/acre plus turf colorant Blazon (Milliken) at 20 oz/acre.
