Photo of the week: more zoysia seedheads

The presence of seedheads in low cut zoysia turf can be unsightly. This photo shows plenty of seedheads on a zoysia collar around a putting green in November. This is in Fukuoka, Japan, and the grass won't grow until March. Those seedheads will be present until March, at least. Do the seedheads disrupt golf play? They don't appear to. Do the seedheads bother golfers? I'm not sure. Do the seedheads stand out to me? Yes, they do.
