Photo of the week: yellow spot on creeping bentgrass

I've seen yellow spot all over the world: this week in Japan, last year in Delaware and Georgia and Japan, and I know a lot of you will have seen these symptoms too. This photo is a creeping bentgrass green with early stage symptoms of yellow spot. The photo was taken in mid-July in Gunma prefecture, Japan, after a week with precipitation every day. In warm and humid conditions, these symptoms caused by cyanobacteria are common on creeping bentgrass.
