Chris Harriman (@harrimanscash on Twitter) from Cattail Creek Country Club in Maryland provided this week's photo of gray leaf spot (GLS) on ryegrass (Lolium perenne). Although improved ryegrass varieties with good GLS tolerance are available, they can still have some problems under heavy disease pressure. The ryegrass varieties in the photo are unknown, but they are old and are clearly not resistant to GLS.
