Poa seedhead suppression with Proxy and Primo: rates, frequencies and timing

Applications of Proxy (ethephon) plus Primo (trinexepac–ethyl) can significantly suppress poa seedhead production on greens and fairways. The use patterns below were developed based on multiple research trials across the United States.

Rates: 5 ounces of Proxy/1000 sq ft PLUS 0.125 oz Primo /1000 sq ft. For best results, these products should be applied together. Applications of Proxy by itself can result in raised crowns, scalping and other undesirable effects.
