Recent research on precision management for improved turf performance

Our article in the March edition of Golf Course Management, “Sensing the Future”, describes how precision management approaches can help to fine-tune turf quality and consistency. In this article, we review the results of a 2005 research project conducted in collaboration with PACE member Sandy Clark, CGCS (Barona Creek Golf Club), that highlights the way in which precision management can be use to improve water management and turf quality.
