Rapid blight hits Coachella Valley

The Coachella Valley (home to Palm Springs, the rat pack, and some of the most gorgeous golf courses anywhere) has so far escaped damage from rapid blight, Labyrinthula terrestris, probably because a great deal of its irrigation water has in the past come from a very high quality source.
