Bottom line: Scientists from around the world attended this April, 2005 meeting to share data on management of salinity in agricultural crops. Key results with application to turfgrass include:
- Reporting on the long-term effects of the use of recycled (reclaimed) water, University of Nevada scientsts reported on four major issues: increased nitrogen loading, increased soil salinity, decreased irrigation pond water quality and increased damage to landscape plants. - Data…
