Roundup resistant weeds on the rise

Since glyphosate (Roundup) resistant crops were introduced in 1996, this technology has been rapidly adopted, with approximately 80% of U.S. soybeans, corn and cotton planted to glyphosate–resistant varieties (National Academy of Sciences, 2010 report).
