Spray volumes have a big effect on fungicide efficacy

We have been seeing more than the usual number of summer patch diagnoses this summer, sometimes from locations where fungicide programs should have kept this disease under control.

When we queried superintendents on their spraying practices, it turned out that some of them were using low volume applications of 1 gallon/1,000 sq ft (4.1 liters/100 sq meters).
