The benefits of leaching

David Major, CGCS at Shady Canyon Golf Club in Irvine California has sent in some useful information describing a leaching event on one of his greens. David was able to monitor the changes in soil moisture and salinity using the Turf Guard soil salinity and moisture sensors that are installed on his greens and fairways. The pictures and data that he sent in show more dramatically than any words can the benefits of leaching to reduce soil salts.
