The USGA's GS3 ball

The USGA Green Section is now selling a device called the GS3 which has sensors inside it. These sensors take readings as the ball is rolled, or dropped, that can produce a measurement of green speed. The sensors also provide a score for vertical deviation (smoothness) of the ball's roll, and another score for the lateral deviation (trueness) of the roll.
